Construction has begun on a 38-story glass tower in Hallandale Beach that will feature 64 homes, two pools, an oceanfront restaurant and a poolside/beach butler service.
Named 2000 Ocean, for its address at 2000 S. Ocean Drive, the tower will rise on the site of the former Regency Health Spa. KAR Properties, a New York- based developer, bought the 1.3-acres for $38 million in 2014.
